A new (and so sweet!) client of mine brought me this beautiful dresser with great shape, great detail and strong bones. It lacked some major personality and....Reduniture style!
Shellie and I discussed what to do with this piece for about 45 minutes and then finally came up with it! We went back and forth on going all white or white with a wood top...blah blah blah. So I suggested doing Reduniture's Signature Aged-Wood Technique and then off-setting it with a clean white base and subtle distressing. - I like doing subtle distressing just around the moldings, corners and detailing to make them stand out.
Now for the good stuff....The top of this fab dresser was finished with Reduniture's Signature Aged-Wood Technique with a totally custom stain!! Shellie wanted some gray in the wood tone but not all gray and not all brown, but enough....So I took this challenge on and used a combination of stains to get the perfect mix. Now, you may not be able to see it in the pictures but the top has the perfect blend of grays and browns.
Not too much gray but the perfect blend of grayish-browns and different shades of brown. This piece really came to life after its Reduniture makeover. It feels full of character, style and warmth. It is a classic piece that is versatile in nearly any color palette.
