{ Denver Edition } Available in the Denver Area

AVAILABLE PIECES:

{ MIL } $250

True vintage chest of drawers finished with my fav combo of stain and paint.  The drawers and side panels were painted in a beautiful teal/turquoise and the rest was restrained a rich dark brown.  This really makes this piece unique and will be a conversation piece in any room.

Where I painted, I distressed it authentically to give it that "I'm so old my paint is chipping off" look and then glazed over it to give it a warm updated vintage look.  The hardware is original as well.  There is beautiful detailing at the bottom of the piece as well as contoured legs in the front.

Before & After { Parker }

Before and after ....
{ Parker } $315

  { Parker } has been brought back to life!  The base has been finished in a warm mocha brown. Literally like a frappuccino from Starbucks! The carved detailed drawers were done in a creamy off white and distressed to perfection to show all the details.  Then the drawers were glazed with the base color to tie the piece together.  And of course it has it's jewelry...chunky, vintage, substantial oil rubbed bronze hardware.

  The glazing really gives this piece uniqueness.  It brings warmth to the piece and adds a classic, elegant feel.  This versatile piece is ideal for a dresser, flat screen TV stand, a buffet to store table linens and plates, or an entry piece to show off to all your friends as they walk in;)  What I love about this piece is it is classic, elegant and neutral but at the same time it makes a statement.  It will draw every one's eyes to it and will fit with nearly any color scheme.

{ Before & After } Old English

{ Old English }
  We are back in action my friends!! Back with ridiculous named pieces at great prices. When I picked up this piece the guy told me "it cleans up real nice with some Old English"....I laughed inside because he had no idea what I was about to do to it and the fact that I loved all the nicks and divets! Some people!! Anyway....this piece was completed in my favorite ( and most requested color ) a cobalt-like blue. I get asked alllllll the time if I would consider selling my personal and most favorite piece { El Tigre }. I have been offered over $550 for it and said " (sigh, sigh, sigh)...no"! I only paid $15 for it too!

  So I decided to do a similar technique on this piece with the same color. The top was (of course) finished with Reduniture's Signature Aged-WoodTechnique and then painted and distressed. I LOVE the richness of this piece yet the funkiness. It definitely adds color to the room but isn't overbearing. This piece looks like "I'm so old my paint is just wearing away" naturally.

{ Before & After }

{ Before & After } Large Dresser

  A new (and so sweet!) client of mine brought me this beautiful dresser with great shape, great detail and strong bones.  It lacked some major personality and....Reduniture style!

 Shellie and I discussed what to do with this piece for about 45 minutes and then finally came up with it!  We went back and forth on going all white or white with a wood top...blah blah blah.  So I suggested doing Reduniture's Signature Aged-Wood Technique and then off-setting it with a clean white base and subtle distressing.  - I like doing subtle distressing just around the moldings, corners and detailing to make them stand out.

Now for the good stuff....The top of this fab dresser was finished with Reduniture's Signature Aged-Wood Technique with a totally custom stain!!  Shellie wanted some gray in the wood tone but not all gray and not all brown, but enough....So I took this challenge on and used a combination of stains to get the perfect mix.  Now, you may not be able to see it in the pictures but the top has the perfect blend of grays and browns.

  Not too much gray but the perfect blend of grayish-browns and different shades of brown.  This piece really came to life after its Reduniture makeover.  It feels full of character, style and warmth.  It is a classic piece that is versatile in nearly any color palette.

Signature Aged-Wood

   I scooped up a dresser similar to the one below and wanted to keep it classic but modern.  I decided to re-stain the top of the dresser a dark espresso brown, do a white base with subtle distressing and call it good.  This piece started out as a light pine so I was a little leery if I could get to the dark espresso brown I was going for. It was similar to this wood finish...
  I was able to get it that dark espresso brown by allowing the stain to kinda rest on top and really seep in.  Then I sanded it again to really achieve the color we were going for.

 I then finished it with Reduniture's Signature Aged-Wood Technique to give it that old world, wood look.

I also sanded and restained the edges and areas I would distress after I painted it a clean white.  The knobs were give a new look with oil rubbed bronze paint and I replaced the two pulls on the two doors. You wouldn't imagine how difficult it is to find 7 vintage knobs!  I had 5 or 6 but not 7!!

  The distressing really came out in this piece and added a lot of depth to the flat front.  It almost frames out each drawer.  I used the same technique on the top for all the distressing to pull it all together with all the different wood tones.

Best of all, Gina LOVES the dresser.  Up next is her desk.  It will be completed with the same style but in a khaki color.  Sneak peak....and btw I never claimed to be a photographer!  I need a lesson or two!
