Who Wants to Take a Trip around El Mundo?

  As an update to my last post, I would like to introduce (aka show off) "El Mundo" the world.  This is abright, attractive, total focal point and conversation piece!  It is a transformed old-school telephone bench into....

This piece was brought to me by a repeat Reduniture-ist, Jessica.  She asked for a "worldly" piece and this is definetley a global traveler.  I am in LOVE with this piece!

Traveling

  A repeat customer of Reduniture, Jessica- she bought the french toy chest and chair, brought me a telephone bench to have Reduniture-d.  It is a great piece and has 2 cushions to be recovered as well.  She said she wanted a "worldly' piece with full of bright colors reminiscent of India.  I had a picture in mind of the fabric I had to find and then came across this piece.....

Now, I know this picture doesn't do the fabric justice but it is very 'worldy'!  I have another piece of fabric to match it with which will finish off the piece.  What do you think????

Here is also my inspiration for the bench.  I am obsessed with this color and technique!  Can't wait to see it all together...and make a phone call on it!

6 drawer Bassett dresser / buffet / tv stand / amazing piece!

I'm not sure if I even need to say anything here....This piece is A-Maze -inG!  Totally fresh, crisp white dresser with hand painted gray, chain link detail.  This piece is more modern than what I have been doing which I'm glad I did to show my range in creating.  The chrome hardware on this piece is totally unique and gives the illusion of there being 4 doors instead of 6 drawers.  Now, no lie...these drawers are huge! I'd say this piece is comparable to a 9 drawer dresser.

3 drawer dresser / buffet / entry piece / whatever else you can imagine!

  This is a great solid wood piece that can be used in a variety of ways.  It can be used as an entry piece to store keys, hats and gloves (yes,...winter is coming in the next few months!) or mail.  It can be used as a small buffet to store place mats, table clothes, and aprons.  Or it could be used as a dresser. 

  The top has been stained to emphasize the natural wood design.  It has a subtle metallic copper-tone glaze over the white paint.  This glaze isn't too much but it does have a teeny-tiny sparkle to it but you have to look REALLY close so don't freak out yet!  This piece has great character yet is simple.

Rustic red, solid wood coffee table with 4 drawers (2 on each side) which have oil rubbed bronze hardware.  The hand carved table top has been stained a warm, rustic wood tone which off sets the beautiful rustic red.  The curvy, contoured legs add amazing character to this table too!

Ole' Rusty

Ole' Rusty is a sturdy solid wood coffee table.  It has 4 drawers (2 on each side) and great curvy legs.  I re- stained the top and hand carved each individual wood plank to emphasize them.  It gives it a great rustic touch.  The bottom will be a rustic-farmhouse red and then topped off with a brown glaze.  This piece is amazing!  I can still customize the bottom color if you are interested.

El Tigre....Grrrrr

Sorry ladies....she's all MINE! I found this totally unique, curvy piece full of amazing tiger wood (quarter sawn oak which makes the wood stripey like a tiger).  Well someone covered the tiger wood up and painted it yellow...Yuck! So I went to work on it for a VERY long time and put my Reduniture touch on her.  She's a real beaut!
